These tiny ants (the smaller ones are perhaps 2 mm long) are also seed harvesters like Messor andrei. They have two distinct castes. The majors have much larger heads. Both castes can be seen here. The major is carrying an insect back to the nest. Mira discovered the nest, on Road F, near many Messor nests.
