4/10-18/06. Family Prepares Flowers for Holy Week Procession, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, 2006. They live just along the road from Ana's house on the lake. They agreed wholeheartedly when I asked if I could take their photo. I took several photos; 021 is the best (?) I sent a large and two small photos to Jameson to give back to them. Dan visits Guatemala during Semana Santa = Holy Week. Used Bethica's Nikon Coolpix 7600: jpeg only, 7.1 megapixels; small, automatic. Arrive Mon 4/10. Procession in Guate City near JR home. Tues 4/11 visit Mami (Pepe's mother), see Ixchel's cousin, Roge's brother Jose's son. Wed 4/12 drive to Lake Atitlan w/Claudia. Thurs 4/13 visit Claudia & Miguel. Fri 4/14, Good Friday: San Pedro procession, then Dan alone to San Juan where they prepare for a procession that eve. Sat 4/15, hang out, people photos in Tzununa. Easter Sunday, go to San Marcos (procession from church), then bus via San Pablo & San Juan to Santa Clara (overflowing church services).
